Willow Tree

Willow describes a family of trees and shrubs, all of which have drooping branches and heavy foliage. The family contains over 350 different species, the majority of which are found in the cooler areas of the Northern Hemisphere. The leaves on Willows are deciduous and similar to a pine leave, although slightly fatter. The Willow breed has so many different hybrids because they can cross-pollinate so easily.

The Weeping Willow is primarily an ornamental tree, which is a cross between the Peking Willow and European White Willow
